Attorney Dennis E. Boyle Opens Private Law Practice on Cedar Cliff Drive to Help Clients in Civil Rights Cases, White Collar Criminal Defense, Corporate and Complex Civil Litigation

CAMP HILL, May 19, 2005 – Attorney Dennis E. Boyle, formerly a partner with Nauman, Smith, Shissler, and Hall LLP, and a lifelong central Pennsylvania resident, has opened his private law practice at 4660 Trindle Road, Suite 200, Camp Hill, to provide clients with unparalleled representation and guidance in complex criminal, corporate, and civil litigation.

"As a defense attorney—especially if the U.S. government has targeted an individual or a corporation—I believe a vigorous, steeled representation is required for client success. If a federal agent knocks on your door with a search warrant or a subpoena, there are specific steps that need to be taken. My experience will lead clients through uncertain times," says Boyle.

His expertise will be a welcome partner for the business community and those who support the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s position that "unless the rules for corporate conduct are better defined, the ‘increasingly aggressive prosecutions of white-collar crime will inflict incalculable economic and intangible harm on businesses, their employees and their shareholders’" ("Business World Tells Government to Back Off," The Wall Street Journal, April 21, 2005).

A spring scuba diving trip for prehistoric shark’s teeth may not seem to meld with the life experiences of an experienced white collar criminal defense attorney, but Boyle believes he’s not an enigma. "I find the personal challenges of scuba diving or mountain climbing to be the perfect preparation for the tenacity, mental skills, and perseverance needed in the courtroom."

Boyle, a former assistant district attorney, has extensive experience in all facets of commercial and white collar criminal litigation such as mail fraud, wire fraud, money laundering, and RICO cases. His practice will focus on complex civil litigation including civil rights violations and environmental law claims.

Having tried more than 100 cases, Boyle is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Pennsylvania and Florida, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. Boyle received his Juris Doctor from University of Baltimore School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Elizabethtown College and has recently completed the requirements for a Master of Law in International Law from George Washington University.

Boyle also entered the U.S. Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps and graduated from Naval Justice School in Newport, Rhode Island. Deployed to the Middle East during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm, he served as both a prosecutor and defense attorney in several high profile cases. He currently holds the rank of Commander in the U.S. Naval Reserve and serves as the Executive Officer for NAVJAG 519, which is assigned to support the Navy Judge Advocate General’s Appellate Defense Division in Washington, D.C.
